Ahimsa 'do no harm' Sanskrit Necklace with Tourmaline on a Rhodium Box Chain, #6963S

Ahimsa... A Sanskrit word meaning ' do no harm ' applies to all living beings including animals. Ahimsa is one of the cardinal virtues of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. It is a multidimensional concept, inspired by the premise that all living beings have the spark of the divine spiritual energy, to hurt another being is to hurt oneself.

Our ahimsa necklace is crafted of recycled sterling silver and has the word 'ahimsa' on one side and the sanskrit word for ahimsa on the back. Three little tourmaline gemstone baubles add a touch of color and whimsy to this necklace. We also offer this pendant as a charm necklace with tourmaline gemstones and a vermeil heart and by itself on a chain.

Pink tourmaline is relaxing and nurturing. It vibrates a deep resonance with the heart chakra, and has the potential to heal emotional wounds with its soft, soothing energy. It radiates kindness and tolerance, and alleviates stress.

Green tourmaline brings a joy for life and promotes an appreciation for the many wonders that life has to offer - creativity, prosperity, abundance and compassion. The healing properties of green tourmaline strengthens the heart and offers detoxification effects. Tourmaline is also the traditional October birthstone.

Ahimsa pendant measures 9/16" in diameter and is suspended on a 1mm rhodium plated sterling silver box chain in your choice of 16" or 18". (If you prefer a longer length, just let us know!)

Due to the individuality of gemstones, each one will have their own characteristics and may not match the photo exactly.
